The student must have 10+2 or PUC or equivalent qualification from an accredited board in India or from a foreign country with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as a compulsory subject. The minimum score of 50% and above is essential in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. At least 40% may be considered for OBC and SC/ST category. NEET is mandatory provided you are intending to come back to India for practicing. In order to practice in India, you must appear for the MCI screening test soon after your international degree
Students may complete an internship in India provided they qualify MCI screening test directed by the MCI
The duration of MBBS is either 5 or 6 years and it depends on country to country.
